Jon Fritz

Jon is an entrepreneurial leader who has founded, built, and scaled enterprise cloud products and teams in the big data, analytics, database, and AI markets.

Prior to Redis, Jon was the founding Chief Product Officer at Aryn, a startup combining GenAI and document intelligence backed by 8VC, Factory, and other notable investors. Earlier, Jon was the SVP of Product Management at Dremio, leading the product and design organizations. Earlier, Jon was a Director of Product Management at AWS, and spent close to a decade building core database and analytics services in the early days of public cloud. He led product management for in-memory database services (ElastiCache and MemoryDB for Redis), Amazon EMR (data lake services for analytics and ML), and was the founding GM of the blockchain division.

Jon has an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.A. in Chemistry from Washington University in St. Louis. He holds several patents in data and cloud technologies, and co-authored a journal on systems for GenAI and analytics for the Conference on Innovative Data Systems Research (CIDR).
